Farm News:

Petting Zoo Packed up

As of Saturday March 8, 2008 the Snow's Farm Petting Zoo will no longer be sharing soil with the Farm Stand West. The animals have returned to their home country at Valley Center. Becky has moved east to Ohio to assist in a family health matter. The fences have all been taken down and the earth has been tilled in preparation of planting for the 2008 season. We expect the soil to produce a delicious crop of our famous vine ripe tomatoes.

SUMMER 2007

As of mid summer 2006 we transported the back up cooler from it's original location on the corner of Summit Drive and San Pasqual Valley Rd to it's new location at The Farm Stand West. This was done in order to accommodate for the large harvests at the end of the summer season. Moving the cooler was a large tricky project. We utilized the help of 6 people, a Low -Boy trailer, and a semi-truck to move it. After a full day's work and priceless ingenuity from our team we had successfully installed the new (old backup) cooler behind the Farm Stand.

FALL 2006

As of the fall 2006 we transported the original farm stand, Farm Stand East, from it's original location on the corner of Summit Drive and San Pasqual Valley Rd to it's new location on Idaho. We moved it in anticipation of reopening the stand as an apricot "You Pick." Since then we have decided to plant corn at that location. We are looking forward to seeing how it does there, But are unsure of it's success. This move was a response to a loss of acreage of our leased land in San Pasqual Valley due to the fires.
