7 Heaping cups of cucumbers, sliced
2 T salt
2 C sugar
1 C White vinegar
1 Tsp Celery seed
1 small onion cut in chunks
1 small green pepper cut in chunks (Optional)
Stir all ingredients and pour cold over the cucumbers and onions. DO NOT COOK. Refrigerate. Start eating in 24 hours, keeps for weeks in fridge.
